BLS and a valid license are required, with active drivers license for consideration. The position involves scrubbing and assisting for CABG and vascular procedures in a hospital CVOR unit. Schedule is 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with on-call 10–15 times monthly and a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience.
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active driver’s license required for consideration.
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, assist, and pass instruments for cardiovascular and vascular procedures.
• Hospital CVOR unit with 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule, Monday–Friday.
• On-call approximately 10–15 times per month, including nights and weekends.
• 13-week travel assignment.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible.
• RTO requests must be less than one week.
• Travel position includes CHS facility staff exclusion within past 2 years.

• Ability to independently scrub, assist, and pass instruments for CABG procedures, valve replacements, and all vascular procedures
• Active driver's license required for consideration
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based CVOR unit
• Days schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• On-call requirement approximately 10-15 times per month with availability on nights and weekends
• 13-week assignment
• Scrub, assist, and pass instruments for cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Previous CHS facility staff employed as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered for this travel position
