Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a CVOR position in Texas. The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience and Meditech proficiency, with BLS certification.

You will work in a busy 10-OR unit with 1:1 patient ratios, on-call duties, and shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Travel housing and licensure reimbursements are provided. Candidates outside a 50-mile radius are preferred; local candidates are not considered.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• 5 years of surgical tech experience required.
• Meditech experience is required.
• Neuro/ECRP or vascular/advanced procedures experience preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• No long gaps in work history in the past year.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 10-OR surgical unit with 2 Endo suites.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios and assist surgical teams.
• Collaborate with Charge RN, RNs, CSTs and support staff.
• Cover day and night shifts; on-call 15+ hours per month plus holidays.
• Use Meditech EMR and support CVOR/Endo suites.
• Perform all surgical procedures except transplants; no floating.

• Day and night shift coverage available
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Shift runs 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call requirements of 15+ hours per month plus holiday coverage
• No floating required
• Perform all types of surgical procedures except transplants
• Support surgical teams across CVOR and Endo suites
• Flexible, team-oriented personality valued
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
