American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with Level II trauma experience for a hospital OR position offering variable shifts. Travel-ready CST/NBSTSA credentials are preferred, with a Washington license in progress acceptable.

Open positions: 2. You will support a Level I/II trauma hospital setting, perform sterile technique, assist surgeons, and float as needed within the health system. Benefits and travel reimbursements apply.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• NBSTSA certification required.
• Washington state license required if applicable.
• Two professional references from the past 2 years required, with at least one from a supervisor.
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration.

Mansioni

• Work in a Level I/Level II trauma hospital OR setting.
• Variable 3x12 shift schedule including days, evenings, or nights depending on unit need.
• Access computer systems for preference lists and digital images.
• Case variety may include vascular, gynecology, plastics, neuro, general surgery, orthopedic, robotics, urology, and thoracic procedures.
• Must be willing to float within the health system as operationally necessary.
• Assist the surgical team by preparing and maintaining the sterile field during operative procedures.
• Arrange and inventory sterile set-ups and pass items to the surgical team as needed.
• Apply principles of asepsis and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation and positioning.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instrumentation, and assist with room turnover.
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position.
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• Former PeaceHealth employees must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• Candidates with more than one DUI are not eligible for consideration.
• Time off requests must be disclosed and approved prior to contract signing, with limited RTO days available depending on offer type.
• Start date may be delayed up to 8 weeks if a Washington license is still in process at the time of consideration.
