American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with 3+ years of experience and charge experience for a day-shift role in a busy academic hospital OR.

Responsibilities include a 13-week Magnet-designated assignment with a 4x10 schedule, no weekends, and a high-acuity academic environment featuring varied cases and robotics. First-time travelers accepted; WA licensure may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist required.
• Charge experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• NBSTSA certification preferred (not required).
• WA state license required if applicable.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsabilités

• 13-week assignment in a Magnet-designated teaching hospital operating room.
• 4x10 day shift schedule, 6:45 AM-5:15 PM, with call obligation.
• No weekend requirement.
• High-acuity academic environment with average daily census of 50-75 and 28 ORs.
• Patient population includes orthopedic sports, arthroscopic and laparoscopic cases, robotics, general, GYN, URO, and plastics.
• Experience with neuro, spine, thoracic, and vascular cases a plus.
• Floating within the hospital required, including to other specialties when slow; no floating to sister hospitals.
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• RTO limited to 1 week max; 18-month UW separation rule for former UW Medical Center staff.

• Charge experience required

• NBSTSA certification preferred
• WA state license required if applicable
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment in a Magnet-designated teaching hospital operating room
• 4x10 day shift schedule, 6:45 AM-5:15 PM, with call obligation
• No weekend requirement
• High-acuity academic environment with average daily census of 50-75 and 28 operating rooms
• Patient population includes orthopedic sports (limited total joints), minimally invasive arthroscopic and laparoscopic cases, robotics, general, GYN, URO, and plastics
• Experience with neuro, spine, thoracic, and vascular cases a plus
• Floating within the hospital required, including to other specialties when slow
• No floating to sister hospitals
• Epic EMR used for charting
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• No radius restriction for local candidates
• RTO limited to 1 week maximum, with no RTO accommodated during the first 2 weeks of assignment
• Former UW Medical Center staff must have an 18-month separation before returning as a travel staff
• Scrubs provided for OR personnel in any color
• COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions
