Formación

• CST certification through NBSTSA required (license required if applicable).
• BLS certification from the AHA required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 5 years of surgical technology experience preferred, 2 years minimum required.
• Experience with vascular, transplant, ophthalmology, spine, robotic, or cardiac procedures preferred.
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred.
• Proficiency in aseptic technique, sterile instrument processing, and specimen handling.

Responsabilidades

• Support general OR, CVOR, and hybrid OR cases in a community hospital setting.
• Maintain patient 1:1 during procedures.
• Work 4x10 night shifts with start times 21:00–23:00.
• Participate in weekend rotation and on-call requirements.
• Assist surgical teams in preparing for and during operative procedures.
• Support multiple surgical specialties including vascular, gynecology, orthopedic, neuro, cardiovascular, and general surgery.

• Community hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Proficiency in aseptic technique, sterile instrument processing, and specimen handling

Responsibilities

• Community hospital setting supporting general OR, CVOR, and hybrid OR cases
• Patient ratio of 1:1 during procedures
• 4x10 variable night shifts with start times ranging from 21:00-23:00
• Weekend rotation included in the schedule
• On-call requirements apply
• Assist surgical teams in preparing for and during operative procedures according to hospital standards
• Support a variety of surgical specialties including vascular, gynecology, orthopedic, neuro, cardiovascular, and general surgery cases
• Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control and isolation precautions
• Participate in Universal Protocol (time out) procedures and equipment documentation
• Handle specimen labeling, wound care, and suture removal as needed
• Operate and maintain surgical equipment including electrosurgical units, drills, and fiber optic devices
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system a plus
• Candidates must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible for return as a traveler
• Only one holiday RTO request approved per contract
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at the applicable local rate
