American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an evening-shift hospital OR position supporting 12 surgical service lines across 12 specialties.

Requirements include CST (NBSTSA) and 3–4 years of experience, with 4 years preferred for Bariatrics, Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedic, and Neuro. Travel experience required; Epic EMR experience preferred. 13-week assignment with 4x10 hour shifts and a 6-shift call period.

Qualifications

• CST certification (NBSTSA) is required.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience; 4 years preferred for Bariatrics, Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedic, and Neuro specialties.
• 1:1 patient ratio experience.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered.
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• Experience with a broad range of surgical procedures including general, vascular, gynecological, orthopedic, neuro, thoracic, urology, and robotic-assisted cases (Da Vinci Xi).
• Knowledge of aseptic technique, sharps safety, specimen handling/labeling, and Universal Protocol procedures.
• Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization processes.
• Management or lead experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Hospital Surgical Services department supporting 12 surgical service lines across general, vascular, gynecology, plastics, neuro, podiatry, orthopedic, cardiovascular, thoracic, ENT, bariatrics and urology.
• Evening shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 13:00 to 23:30.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Call required for 6 shifts per 8-week block, including weekends and holidays.
• float duties as needed across departments.
• Epic EMR preferred.
• Scrubs provided.
• Assist with robotic-assisted surgeries using the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
• Maintain sterile fields and proper instrument/sharp handling.
• Participate in specimen handling, labeling, and surgical time-out procedures.
• Reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
• Candidates with >10 days of time off will not be considered.
• Returning staff must observe a 6-month system-wide break between assignments.

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be considered for this travel position

• Candidates with more than 10 days of requested time off will not be considered
