Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with ortho and neuro experience for a hospital surgical services position in Huntington, WV. This travel assignment is at a Level II trauma hospital with 18 operating rooms and a day shift of 7:00 AM–3:30 PM on a 4x10 schedule.

Candidates must have CST and BLS, at least 1 year of CST experience, and be willing to travel and live beyond 50 miles. Benefits include housing allowance, travel reimbursements, and day-1 coverage options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist required.
• CST certification required (license required if applicable).
• BLS certification required.
• Community hospital experience required.
• First-time travelers will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ortho and neuro case experience required.
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• At least one weekend per month required.
• On-call requirement with pickup of two call shifts.
• Uses SPM Instrument Tracking System for charting.
• Green scrubs provided for travelers.
• Free parking available for travelers.
• No floating to other units or sister facilities required.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible.
• No RTO restrictions.
