American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 3 years of experience and a Trauma Level II background for a 13-week assignment in a busy 16-room surgical services department.

This on-site travel role in Oregon requires residency outside a 75-mile radius and offers comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with on-call requirements every 6 weeks and a per diem/subsidy structure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• CST certification is required; NBSTSA preferred.
• Trauma Level II background is required.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• BLS certification not required.
• Proof of address required to confirm residency for radius eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Services department comprises 16 operating rooms.
• Handle cases including craniotomy, ortho trauma, MVA, and total joint procedures.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Surgical Services department with 16 operating rooms
• Required case types include craniotomy, ortho trauma, MVA, and total joint procedures
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 2 weeknights every 6 weeks and one weekend (Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts) every 6 weeks
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Pending license accepted
• Maximum RTO of 7 days during the assignment
• Does not accept local candidates; must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Candidates must provide proof of permanent address and a map showing distance to the facility
• Orientation includes completion of annual competency modules specific to specialty area
