Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and 18 months of acute care PCU/step-down experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess PCU patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment.
• Utilize equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital signs and respond to changes.
