Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc. seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide skilled therapy services in various healthcare settings, including home health.

You will assess patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders and develop individualized treatment plans, focusing on improving communication and swallowing function. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, active licensure (or in progress), CPR, CCCs, and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state license or licensure in progress.
• At least 1 year of professional experience.
• Current CPR certification and CCCs required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with speech, language, or swallowing deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Teach patients sound production, voice improvement, and communication skills.
• Assist patients in strengthening muscles or using strategies for safe swallowing.
• Modify care based on ongoing evaluation to meet therapy goals.
