Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Live and work within 75-mile radius of Miami International Airport.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Self-disciplined, accountable, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable sitting at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to cover a variety of shifts: morning, afternoon, night, swing, weekend, holiday.
• Accurate performance of ticketing and related tasks with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer contacts, providing solutions to travel needs.
• Promote sales of tickets and related products/services.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Work full time on a PC with scheduled breaks and lunch periods.
• Work in a 24-hour operation, including weekends, holidays, day, night and swing shifts that may change during the year.
• Accept mandatory overtime and volunteer overtime as needed.
• Complete initial training at an American Airlines training facility (≈10 weeks) and ongoing refresher training each year.
• Achieve assigned performance goals.
