American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Stepdown RN with HVTI telemetry experience for a hospital assignment in Ohio. Requires an active RN license (Ohio or Compact) and a minimum of 12 months in stepdown care. Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate testing.

Responsibilities include nursing care in HVTI-Stepdown, with potential to float to J1-2, J33, and ED. Work 3x12-hour shifts (days or nights) with some holiday coverage, in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

Job description

American Traveler is seeking a Stepdown RN with HVTI telemetry experience for a hospital assignment requiring at least 12 months of recent specialty experience and an Ohio or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand, no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 12 months of combined permanent experience in the stepdown specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with acceptable scores
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, medical/religious exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Work in the HVTI-Stepdown unit of a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population
• Day shift (7:00 AM-7:30 PM) or Night shift (7:00 PM-7:30 AM), 3x12-hour rotating shifts
• Shifts may be variable or rotated to meet hospital operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Provide stepdown-level nursing care to a cardiac/telemetry patient population
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Candidates with open background check cases will not be accepted
• Facility does not accept candidates with any professional license hits
• Previous permanent or per diem employees must wait 1 year from their last end date before returning to Cleveland Clinic hospitals
• All RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
