Qualifications

• Active RN license CO or Compact required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (AHA issued; TNCC preferred).
• Certifications must be AHA-issued and not expire before start date.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the Intermediate Care Unit.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Intermediate Care Unit.
• Night shift: 3x12hr shifts, 1900-0730.
• Rotating weekend requirement.
• May float to other departments within scope of competency.
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care.
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients.
• Document care per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before travel eligibility.
