Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care Unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license and prior IMC experience. The RN will work night shifts (1900-0730), 36 hours per week across three shifts, with potential to float and be on-call as needed, using Epic for charting and delivering comprehensive patient care.

Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, with TNCC preferred; ASN is required and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications not expiring before start
• TNCC certification preferred
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of IMC experience
• Epic charting experience required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1900-0730)
• 36 hours per week, 3 shifts per week
• May float to other departments within scope of competency
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting
• Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions per state standards
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care
• Provide health teaching and patient referrals as needed
• Document care per guidelines
• Background check and drug screen completed prior to start

• Background check and drug screen results required prior to start, with drug screen completion expected within 24 hours of assignment commitment
