Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care/Telemetry role in a large hospital setting. KS or compact licensure and IMC/Tele experience are required.

The position involves a 12-hour night shift with weekend and holiday coverage as needed. Nurses will float to multiple units, with no on-call requirements, and must complete credentialing prior to start date.

Qualifications

• Active KS or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year IMC/Tele RN experience in a large, critical care facility.
• New graduates will not be considered.
• 2-step TB test or blood draw completed within the past 12 months required.
• Hep B, Varicella, and MMR immunization records or titers completed within the past 12 months required.
• TDAP immunization required.

Responsibilities

• Intermediate Care/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
• 12-hour night shift schedule.
• Weekend coverage required on an as-needed basis.
• Holiday coverage expected on an as-needed basis.
• Floating required to 2 East Intermediate Care, 2 North Medical, 3 West Post-Surgical, and 3 North Overflow Med-Surg/Negative Air Flow Unit.
• No on-call requirements.
• Provide nursing care to intermediate care and telemetry patients in a large hospital environment.
• Credentialing documents due by Wednesday prior to start date.
• Clock in/out performed at facility and via mobile app.
