Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care Unit on the night shift. The role requires an active CO or Compact RN license, at least 1 year in the specialty, and AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; TNCC preferred).

Epic is used for charting, with potential to float within scope and occasional on-call duties. The position supports travel accommodations and features competitive pay with bonuses, and requires DOB and last 4 of SSN for consideration during

Qualifications

Active RN license CO or Compact required.
Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (AHA issued; TNCC preferred).
Certifications must be AHA-issued and not expire before start date.
Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the Intermediate Care Unit.
ASN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Intermediate Care Unit.
Night shift: 3x12hr shifts, 1900-0730.
Rotating weekend requirement.
May float to other departments within scope of competency.
May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
Uses Epic for charting.
Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care.
Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients.
Document care per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before travel eligibility.
