Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of telemetry or higher-acuity RN experience required.
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Cardiovascular Care Unit within a hospital setting.
• 32-bed unit with an average of 3-5 patients per nurse depending on acuity and shift.
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week, 1900-0730.
• Weekend requirement of up to 8 shifts within an 8-week period, typically 5-6.
• No scheduled on-call shifts, though may be placed on call at the start of a shift if not needed.
• Uses Epic for documentation and UKG Pro/Kronos for timekeeping and scheduling.
• Floating to other departments based on business need and date-based assignment.
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care including health teaching and counseling.
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further care as needed.
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Contract length of 13 weeks or more.
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year to be eligible for this assignment.
