American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring KS or compact RN license and at least one year of hospital telemetry experience.

Active KS or compact RN license, BLS, and an Associate's degree in nursing are required, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. The role includes 12-hour nights, weekend requirements, and potential unit float as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Telemetry unit care on a 36-bed floor.
• Patient ratio 1:3 or 1:4.
• 12-hour night shifts 1900-0730.
• Every other weekend required.
• No on-call requirements.
• Occasional float to related units.
• Attend in-person orientation and DON/Epic trainings as scheduled.
• Holiday coverage: work two major holidays.
• Accepts local and travel candidates at the same bill rate.

• General med-surg/telemetry unit with 36 beds (29 rooms and 7 semi-private spaces)
• Patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May occasionally float to acute care or overflow/surge units housing med-surg patients
• Nicotine-free facility
• Must attend in-person NEO orientation Monday and Tuesday of start week, DON training Wednesday and Thursday, and virtual Epic training Friday
• Holiday coverage required based on unit needs; must work two major holidays, choosing from Thanksgiving Eve/Day, Christmas Eve/Day, or New Year's Eve/Day
• Accepts local and travel candidates at the same bill rate
