American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Night Shift RN for Telemetry in California. Requires active CA RN license, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, and 1+ year acute care plus telemetry experience. Epic charting and 0.9 FTE on a 3x12 schedule are expected in a high-acuity unit offering housing and travel reimbursements.

Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and rapid response participation, with emphasis on patient safety and throughput.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (CPI preferred)
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience
• Minimum 1 year telemetry experience in past 2 years
• Experience with IV therapy and line care; blood product administration
• Experience managing respiratory conditions (BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, tracheostomy)
• Wound care, isolation precautions, PPE use
• Two professional references including supervisory/director/manager reference within last year
• Full 7-year work history with any gaps explained

Responsibilities

• Work in Telemetry unit of a hospital
• Night shift 3x12-hour shifts (1900-0730)
• Full-time position at 0.9 FTE
• Epic charting system experience required
• Care for cardiac telemetry, MS/Tele, neurological, renal, orthopedic, cardiovascular cases
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration)
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Utilize Rapid Response/Code teams as needed
• Direct patient care for telemetry and med-surg patients with complex needs
• Support throughput and clinical outcomes in a high-acuity unit
• Disclose prior employment at facility when considered
• Requested time off cannot be changed
• First-time travelers not preferred
