American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position in Missouri. Requires cardiac procedural care experience and a Missouri or compact RN license.

Responsibilities include working on a 29-bed unit with a 1:4 patient ratio, Meditech documentation, and night shift coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Full-time position with weekend shifts and potential travel opportunities.

Competenze

• Active RN license Missouri or Compact required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Telemetry/PCU/ICU experience
• Experience reading EKGs and telemetry strips
• Experience with post cardiac procedural care
• Administer and titrate IV medications
• IV insertions, NGT, chest tubes, Foley management
• SSN and DOB required; 2 references; no 90+ day gaps

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring cardiac procedural care experience and a Missouri or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Telemetry, PCU, or ICU experience required
• Experience reading and interpreting EKGs and telemetry strips required
• Experience with post cardiac procedural care including ablations, cardiac catheterizations, post-op day 1 open heart, and permanent pacemaker placements required
• Experience administering and titrating IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone required
• Experience with IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, chest tube maintenance, temporary pacemakers, and Foley insertions required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required for Missouri placements
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Equipment used includes Alaris IV pumps, SCD machines, Hill Rom beds, Dinamap monitors, Welch Allyn vital machines, wound vacs, temporary pacemakers, telemetry monitors, EKG machines, bladder scanners, and Dopplers
• Uses Imobile for team communication
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time schedule required, including 3 weekend shifts per scheduling period
• Floating required to areas of demonstrated competency
• Deliver patient-centered care aligned with facility patient experience goals, including bedside shift reporting and responsiveness to call lights
• Navy blue scrubs required, with optional black scrub pants paired with a navy top
• Work in a fast-paced cardiac unit known for a tenured, family-like staff culture
• Many travel contracts on this unit have transitioned into full-time positions
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility for consideration
