American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Cardiac Telemetry RN for a Level I Trauma hospital unit in Greenville, SC. Active SC or compact RN licensure and Epic EMR experience are required.

The role demands skilled IV therapy, dysrhythmia interpretation, telemetry monitoring, and the ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts with some weekend coverage. Travel rates apply for eligible candidates.

Formación

• Active SC or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in cardiac telemetry; 3 years for first-time travelers.
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience.
• Level I Trauma center experience required.
• Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and starting/maintaining IVs.
• Experience with blood product administration, central and peripheral line care preferred.
• Experience with cardiac drips, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and telemetry monitoring.
• Experience with wound care, isolation precautions/PPE, and oxygen administration.

Responsabilidades

• Work on a 32-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit providing care for patients with cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 0700-1930.
• Every other weekend coverage required, subject to change based on need.
• Floating required to other units or campuses as needed based on census, within demonstrated competencies.
• Uses Omnicell medication system.
• Provides continuous EKG and oxygen saturation monitoring via telemetry.
• Administers IV and oral medications to treat cardiac conditions and arrhythmias.
• Prepares and sends patients for cardiac interventions, surgeries, diagnostic tests, and other procedures.
• Deliver holistic nursing care addressing physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and cultural needs of patients and families.
• Collaborate with care teams to manage inpatient treatment and coordinate post-hospitalization services for heart failure patients.
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training required.
• Complete pre-assignment testing and required modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials.
• First-time travelers considered with 3+ years of specialty experience.
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from any Prisma facility to be eligible for full travel rates.
• Night shift candidates in this specialty may be considered at 50+ miles from the contracted campus with reduced rates between 50-99.9 miles.
