Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Step-Down RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Middletown, OH. The position requires a valid RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS certification, and at least 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/step-down experience.

Travel nursing duties include 12-hour nights, 48 hours per week, and comprehensive benefits. Start date is 10/12/2026 with a guaranteed 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/step-down setting.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs, signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Documents the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education.
• Revises and documents the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
