Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze and document nursing data and diagnoses.
• Document the care plan with outcomes and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and family education.
• Revise care plans according to evaluation and changes in medical plan.
