MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS certification, and 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.

Travel is involved with 36 hours per week, nights shifts, and a 13-week duration. The position offers weekly pay, housing options or housing allowance, and comprehensive benefits through a Joint Commission-certified agency.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using nursing process and plan/implement/evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze, and document health data and nursing diagnoses.
• Document the plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient/family education.
• Revise the plan of care as medical conditions change and interventions evolve.
