Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week travel assignment in Middletown, OH. As a Stepdown RN, you will provide critical cardiac care for patients moving from ICU to general units.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs for cardiac patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per cardiac care standards.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
