Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Middletown, Ohio. The role requires a Stepdown RN with valid license, BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of experience.
The position offers a travel-friendly environment with a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week. The traveler will join a dedicated clinical team, providing care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with opportunities for competitive pay and comprehensive
Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
- Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vitals, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments with emphasis on cardiac care.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
- Document nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
- Initiate patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
