American Traveler is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a 12-week night assignment in Ohio. The role requires BH experience and an active OH or compact RN license. Duties include care for psychiatric inpatients, detox, and mental health assessments.

Expect night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with every other weekend work and a 1:4 patient ratio. Travel rate applies based on distance; scrubs policy and downtime expectations are part of the shift.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (OH or Compact)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• Behavioral health experience required
• Psych/detox experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit within a 24-bed facility serving patients ages 18-99
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend work required
• No on-call requirements
• Staff float across all 3 units as needed with no assigned unit
• Care for patients with detox, depression, and psychosis
• Compassionate approach to mental health with handling challenging patient interactions
• Proactive mindset during downtime
• Navy blue scrubs required; hoodies and casual wear not permitted
• Must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Must not be employed elsewhere full time
