Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Psychiatric for a 12-hour day shift assignment requiring an active OH or compact RN license and prior psychiatric nursing experience.

This position is a 12-week assignment with a 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM schedule. Active Nursys/licensure verification is required at the time of consideration, and OH/Compact licensure is mandatory. Only candidates residing within the distance criteria will be eligible.

Qualifications

• Active RN license OH or Compact in hand
• AHA-issued certifications required
• Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Prior psychiatric nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients
• Work on psychiatric nursing unit within a behavioral health facility
• 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 12-week assignment length
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
