American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health Clinical Nurse Supervisor role in an Emergency Department Hold unit.

The position requires CPI certification (or acceptable alternatives), BLS, and an active NC or compact RN license, with an overnight 7 PM–7 AM shift. Requirements include at least 2 years of behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience, no expiring certifications within 30 days, and US SSN with DOB for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active NC or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted).
• CPI certification required; SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI based on facility requirement.
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Behavioral health unit within an Emergency Department Hold setting (ED Hold BH).
• Clinical Nurse Supervisor role overseeing behavioral health patients.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Provide clinical supervision and direct patient care within a behavioral health ED Hold unit.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, with no exceptions for local candidates.
• One professional reference required.
