American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Pediatrics RN for a Float Pool position in Oklahoma City. The role requires three years of Level I trauma experience and willingness to float across multiple units, including NICU feeder-grower when needed.

Candidates must hold an OK RN license or eNLC, BLS and PALS, and have at least one year of RN experience. Associates degree required; BSN preferred. Night shifts and a 36-hour workweek with holiday/weekend coverage are expected.

Responsabilidades

• Float across hospital units within a Float Pool.
• Floats to med/surg, hem/onc, step-down and NICU feeder-grower units.
• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 3 days.
• Holiday and weekend coverage required.
• Monitor patient conditions, document responses, and alert physicians.
• Administer meds and manage IV infusions and blood products.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge.
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed.
• Must live outside 50-mile radius for consideration; start-date deadlines strict.

Responsibilities

• Float Pool position within a hospital setting
• Floats to medical, surgical, medical specialty, hem/onc, and step-down units
• May also float to NICU for feeder-grower patients
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Holiday and weekend coverage required
• Provides nursing care to a variety of patients with health needs ranging from simple to complex
• Monitors patient conditions, documents responses to treatment, and communicates changes to physicians
• Administers medications and manages IV infusions and blood products
• Educates patients and families on care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge planning
• Delegates tasks to support staff as needed
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Facility enforces strict credentialing and compliance deadlines with no flexibility for start date delays
• Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks from offer to allow time for compliance clearance
• 30-day written notice required for early cancellation or assignment termination
• Extensions limited to one time for a maximum of 26 weeks, with a required 6-month separation before reapplying
