American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric PACU/PreOp role in Dayton, OH. The ideal candidate holds an Ohio RN license, ADN, and active BLS and PALS certifications, with 2–3 years’ recent PreOp or PACU nursing experience.

Responsibilities include pediatric PreOp/PACU care, airway management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Shift options include 4x10s or 8:00–4:30, with float duties as needed and navy scrub color requirements.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license is required.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2-3 years of recent Preoperative or PACU nursing experience.
• Pediatric Preoperative/PACU experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work in the Preoperative/PACU unit of a pediatric hospital.
• Care for pediatric patients in PreOp and PACU.
• Shifts: 4x10 hour days or Mon-Fri 8:00-4:30.
• Float between Preoperative and PACU as needed.
• Provide comprehensive preop and postanesthesia nursing care.

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS
• Minimum of 2-3 years of recent Preoperative and/or PACU nursing experience required
• Pediatric Preoperative/PACU experience preferred
• Strong airway management, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills required
• Experience with discharge teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration required
• Two references required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the Preoperative/PACU unit of a pediatric hospital
• Pediatric patient population
• Shift options include 4x10 hour day shifts (6:30 AM-5:00 PM) or Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM schedules
• Float required between Preoperative and PACU areas as patient care needs require
• Provide comprehensive preoperative and postanesthesia nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient and family outcomes
• Foster a patient- and family-centered care environment
• Navy scrub color required
• Former permanent employees must wait at least 6 months before being eligible for consideration
