Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a PACU RN with pediatric Pre-Op/PACU experience and current MN RN licensure for a local-only position at a children's hospital.

The role requires MN RN licensure or MN Temp Permit, BLS certification, and at least two years of Pre-Op or PACU nursing experience, with Epic proficiency and pediatric experience preferred. The position is day shift, 0.6 FTE, and involves working in a Pre-Procedure Assessment Center using the Epic EMR system to coordinate

Qualifications

• Current MN RN licensure or MN Temp Permit-RN required
• Current BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum two years of Pre-Op or PACU nursing experience required
• Epic proficiency required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

• Works in a Pre-Procedure Assessment Center that partners with patients and families to prepare for upcoming procedures
• Pediatric patient population including infants, children, and adolescents
• Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts at 0.6 FTE
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Coordinates and provides family-centered nursing care utilizing the nursing process
• Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other healthcare team members
• Helps optimize patient readiness for anesthesia and prevent barriers or delays in care
• Business casual attire or RN royal blue scrubs required
