Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Pediatric PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Washington, DC. Active DC RN license required; 2-3 years pediatric post-anesthesia and 2-3 years pediatric pre-testing experience needed.

Shifts are four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or on-call duties. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance from day one, a generous housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and non-taxed per diem support, plus weekly payroll deposits

Qualifications

• Active DC RN license required (pending license accepted for submittal only, but must be issued prior to start date)
• 2-3 years pediatric post-anesthesia care experience required
• 2-3 years pediatric pre-testing experience required
• No background check or license violations accepted

Responsibilities

• Pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting
• Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with a varying day off
• Variable shift start times ranging between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to pediatric patients
• Required training modules must be completed within the first week of the assignment
• Missed shifts due to call-outs must be made up at the end of the contract, extending the assignment as needed
• Facility drug/health clearance is sent directly to the traveler but does not confirm clearance to start; candidates must confirm clearance prior to their first day
