Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia. This RN will work in the Intermediate Care Unit on a 13-week contract, with a 36-hour work week and a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, and may float to other units as needed.

The role requires an active RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS to provide comprehensive care for patients with intermediate acuity including chest pain, heart failure, and post-catheterization care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient conditions.
• Read, interpret, and document telemetry strips with telemetry team support.
• Titrate drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem and Nitro.
• Coordinate with IV Team and Pharmacy for in-house coverage 24/7.
• Float to other units as needed to maintain staffing levels.
