Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, WV. Nurse will provide care for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with 12-hour nights and 36 hours per week.

Start date 10/15/2026; requires 1 year of Stepdown experience, WV RN license, BLS, ACLS, PCCN- and NIHSS-preferred. Travel pay packages include competitive compensation, benefits from day one, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in WV or compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• One year of Stepdown RN experience.
• PCCN and NIHSS preferred certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry and vital signs.
• Administer meds and care for cardiac patients.
• Assist physician during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Document assessments and patient responses in chart.
