Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing's nursing division seeks a travel RN in the PCU/Stepdown unit for Johnstown, PA. Position is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on day shifts, focusing on cardiac care and telemetry monitoring. You will join a dedicated clinical team and enjoy a supportive travel friendly environment.

Required qualifications include one year of Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS valid credentials. Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications may be considered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health.
