Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lone Tree, CO. The role focuses on patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units with telemetry monitoring and specialized care.

Requires 1 year Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS. PCCN and NIHSS are preferred; housing, stipends, and benefits accompany a traveler-friendly package.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification.
• Preferred NIHSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and cardiac rhythms with proactive response.
• Administers medications and treatments per nursing standards, focusing on cardiac care.
• Aids physician during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents patient status and notifies physician as needed.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
