Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN for PCU in Thornton, CO for a 13-week assignment. The Stepdown RN focuses on telemetry monitoring, cardiac meds, and care coordination for ICU-to-ward transitions.

The candidate should have 1 year Stepdown experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and strong communication. Travel benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
