Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a skilled travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Englewood, CO. The nurse will provide post-ICU care, monitor telemetry, administer cardiac-focused treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, focusing on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and patient responses in the chart.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
