TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13‑week assignment in Colorado Springs, CO. The PCU RN will work 36 hours per week on a 12‑hour night shift, delivering bedside care to stable patients with close monitoring and frequent assessments.

Requirements include ACLS and BLS certifications and 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. This travel role offers a tax‑free stipend and benefits as described by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 2 years acute care experience preferred.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience in PCU/TEU setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Care for PCU patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment.
• Monitor cardiac and other vital signs using telemetry equipment; interpret data.
• Administer prescribed medications and document reactions; adjust as needed.
• Assist with IVs, dressings, catheters, and basic bedside care; provide stable bedside support.
