Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse for the PCU at a facility in Aurora, CO. The role requires nights, 12-hour shifts, and a 36-hour work week. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.

As a PCU nurse, you will monitor cardiac and other vital signs, titrate medications, and collaborate with the care team to stabilize patients as needed. The position is travel-based with flexibility for assignments nationwide within Colorado.

Qualifications

• 2 years of acute care experience required.
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer and record prescribed meds and monitor reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Take corrective action based on monitoring data.
