Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Lakewood, Colorado. The role involves 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, providing progressive care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units.

Requirements include one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. PCCN and NIHSS are preferred; benefits and competitive pay accompany this travel opportunity.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) preferred.
• NIHSS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and cardiac treatments.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Provide patient education focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Document nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
