Job summary

Qualifications
- One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
- Current RN license valid per state regulations.
- BLS and ACLS certifications current.
Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms; respond to abnormalities.
- Administer meds and treatments per nursing standards with cardiac focus.
- Assist with cardiac procedures and exams; prep equipment as needed.
- Monitor comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
- Document patient status and notify physician of changes.
- Respond to life-threatening cardiac emergencies per protocols.
- Record nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
- Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow safety rules.
