Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the PCU in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The position requires a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift (7 PM–7 AM) and rotating weekends/holidays.

The RN will prioritize patient safety, collaborate with the care team, and provide documentation and discharge planning from the outset. BLS/ACLS certifications are required, with 2+ years bedside experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required before first shift.
• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
• Collaborate with patients and families to identify learning needs and goals.
• Provide timely patient status updates and document assessments and interventions.
• Participate in rehabilitation programs and deliver direct patient care.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from day of admission.
