ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Johnstown, PA. The position requires night shifts (7 PM–7 AM) with rotating weekends and holidays, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration. Start ASAP and travel benefits apply.

The RN will prioritize patient safety, teamwork, and high-quality care, with emphasis on documentation, discharge planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
• Collaborate with patients and families to identify teaching needs.
• Provide timely patient status updates and document assessments and interventions.
• Participate in rehabilitation programs and provide direct care.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise ancillary nursing staff and delegate tasks as needed.
• Maintain safety in line with hospital policies.
• Contribute to unit functioning and team-building activities.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.
