Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Newton Lower Falls, MA. The role requires one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

You will work nights on a 40-hour week in a PCU setting, with comprehensive benefits and support from a dedicated clinical team. Eligible candidates must meet state licensure requirements, maintain telemetry monitoring expertise, and commit to high-quality, patient-centered

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry, vital signs, and cardiac data to detect abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and aids physicians during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
