Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Concord, NH. The role emphasizes monitoring complex telemetry patients moving from ICU to medical-surgical units, with emphasis on cardiac care, medication administration, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: PCCN Certification, NIHSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; responds to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
