Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, MA. Start date is 10/12/2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour days in a travel capacity.

The Stepdown RN will monitor telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to support ICU-to-floor transitions. Requires RN license, BLS, ACLS, and one year of Stepdown experience; PCCN and NIHSS are a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments for cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist with cardiac procedures and exams.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe patient care.
