Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in New London, New Hampshire. The RN will provide specialized care for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of stepdown experience, NH RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications. This travel role offers competitive pay, benefits, and a supportive clinical team in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN (RN)
• Active RN license in NH per state requirements
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed meds and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures/exams.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety; observe and report status changes.
• Document patient history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
