Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in South Weymouth, MA. The role focuses on caring for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with emphasis on telemetry monitoring and cardiac care.

Requirements include 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS. Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications are a plus. Benefits start day 1 and include comprehensive health coverage and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification and NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Monitors telemetry data and responds to abnormalities.
• Administers medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Aids physician during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
• Follows safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
